With the presidential elections coming right around the corner many voters are asking the famous line, “What can YOU do for your country”? Whether you’re registered as a democrat, republican, or an independent, it is imperative that you look closely at the different plans and ideologies that they have in their own unique vision for The United States. Now I know what some of you are thinking, “I find it hard to believe that my vote can make a difference”. Let me be the first of many to say that it does! Multiple sources have shown that up to 40% of U.S. citizens do not vote, this being due to several reasons, long waiting lines, confusion with voter registry, the ability to take the day off to make it to the polls as well as their belief that their voice does not matter. With more deadlines approaching do not only ask what the candidates can do for you, but what can you do to make your difference in this country by going out to vote.
